Just a little.

Hi, I'm just a little, and I want just a little from the world. This just a little basically is, the whole world and everything. The reality is that, no body has the entire world under his/her feet. Even, a princess does not have everything in life. Then comes the proverb; life is not a bed of roses, I would like to say it the other way round; life is not a piece of cake as, when you're here you'll have to face the music; sometimes harsh, sometimes sweet and sometimes nothing but silence. Silence is the best language in the world. It says everything and tells the whole story. I love the language of deep, deep silence, and a corner in my room, the darkest and the most silent place of world where, I cry my heart out. That is the best place on the face of this earth as, it hides me into it, embraces me and hugs me. Silence is my best companion, and the corner provides the best shoulder to cry in bad days. Silence always console me with its deep, sweet voice. Why silence and...

Robert Frost, poetry and Nature.

Robert Frost is a famous American poet. His work was published in England at first then in America. He is famous for the display of realism in his poetry through fantasy and illusion. His style in poetry is quite difficult to delimit. We cannot give his poetry any specific genre. He starts his poems with an idea of fantasy and imagination, then at the end he seems to fluctuate towards reality. His poetry is a fusion of both reality and imagination. The tone and expression of his poetry is somehow straight forward and determined, at the same tine some of his work depicts his internal conflicts and melee too. His representation of reality is so magnificent that one cannot avoid appreciating it. The amalgam of reality and fantasy pleases the senses and gives an ultimate pleasure to the readers. His reality is not just the mere representation of worldly sorrows and agonies rather, he displays all these problems by using the colors of imagination so, that reality looks beautiful and, world ...

A Stained Glass.

This is a story of a little girl whit a little heart. It will tell how the birds of a little talent can be caged. It present the brutal growth of that heart which once was beautiful and innocent but, then; it becomes the crushed soul and a ruined personality. Let us listen the story from the tongue which bore it, and let us listen her heart through her words. The story starts when I was in 7th grade, and I were a flimsy, weak little girl with a pale face and big wide eyes. It was the time when doctors revealed it to my mother that it is not actually an in-hailing problem but a heart disease. It can never be cured, she has this disease since the very first day of her birth, and it is quite late now so, she has to live with it. I had no trouble in that. I was happy (and I still am happy) to be sick is not a big deal I thought but, it was just me and my perception. the world doesn't think like that. It is a very filthy place though to live in, harsh but reality. I know, many people ...

A FEMINIST ANALYSIS OF KHALED HOSSEINI'S A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS.

Lili lili birthbath, Sitting on a dirt path, Minnow sat on a rim and drank, Slipped, and in the water she sank. ( Hosseini , A Thousand Splendid Suns 21). I have selected A Thousand Splendid Suns as the text of my study because it supports my argument. The argument of my study is that women in Afghanistan have no prestige and they enjoy no agency in their patriarchal society. Since Hossieni’s fiction is not been tapped in terms of feminist readings, I have invoked feminist theory to critically analyze Hosseini’s text.  The primary focus of this study is the aspect of feminism in the novel and how author has described his ideas about women and their miseries in a patriarchal society. In the novel, the author paints a picture of two women, their love, emotions and sacrifices, how both of them struggle in their lives and how by fate they meet and build a great and unbreakable bonding with each other. In the study I will find the traditions of Afghan community and the ...
